Product Overview

Integrated into a 1U height console, this VGA LCD KVM Switch allows control of multiple computers via a single set of peripherals—including a monitor, keyboard, and mouse. This integration eliminates the need to equip each computer with separate input and display devices, significantly reducing costs and saving space.
This VGA LCD KVM Switch console offers easy and fast installation: users only need to connect the appropriate cables to the correct ports of the KVM and its modules, with no software configuration required. It supports direct control of up to 8 or 16 computers, and is compatible with multiple hardware platforms and operating systems, making it versatile for various IT environments.

Hardware & Space-Design

  • All-in-One Console Design: Combines an 18.5” FHD TFT monitor, a 99-key keyboard (with 17 independent numeric keys), and a high-precision touchpad (with scroll wheel) into a single unit. This eliminates the need for separate external peripherals, reducing desk or rack clutter and simplifying setup.
  • 1U Rack-Mount Compatibility: Features a 1U height structure that fits standard 19” racks, optimizing vertical rack space utilization. The metal build enhances durability, while components like the rear bracket slot and handle facilitate easy installation and maintenance in data center or server room environments.

Flexible Control & Scalability

  • Multi-Method Management & Batch Operations: Supports three computer switching modes (front-panel LEDs, keyboard hotkeys, OSD menu) to suit different user habits. It also includes auto-scan for real-time monitoring of selected computers and broadcast mode for executing operations (e.g., software updates) simultaneously across multiple devices, boosting efficiency.
  • Daisy-Chain Expansion: Enables cascading with up to 31 additional KVM switches, expanding control from 8/16 direct-connected computers to a maximum of 256 (SY1808) or 512 (SY1816) servers. This scalability makes it ideal for large-scale IT infrastructures like data centers requiring centralized server management.

Compatibility & Reliable Operation

  • Cross-Platform & Hardware Support: Works seamlessly with operating systems including Windows, Sun, Unix, and Linux, and supports servers from major brands (Lenovo, HUAWEI, HP, IBM, Cisco, Dell). This ensures stable performance in mixed-software or mixed-hardware IT setups.
  • Uninterrupted Maintenance & Environmental Adaptability: Supports hot-plugging, allowing computers to be added/removed without powering down the switch—minimizing downtime for critical systems. It also operates in 0–50℃ (working) / -20–60℃ (storage) temperatures and 0–80% non-condensing humidity, with global power compatibility (100V–240Vac), ensuring reliability across diverse environments.
